Psychologist – Hypnotherapist – Psychotherapist

I was born in Kozani in 1981. I studied at the Department of Psychology, School of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Social – Clinical and Developmental – School Psychology.

My internship took place at the Special Education Center (Kalamaria, Thessaloniki) for adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities.

I graduated in 2004 and worked voluntarily for one year with children with developmental disorders and their families.

For one year, I worked as a Psychologist at the Creative Activities Center for Children with Disabilities (KDAP – MEA) of the Municipality of Kozani, within a program for acquiring work experience.

For five years, I worked as a Psychologist at the private Rehabilitation – Recovery – Day Care and Daily Support Center for People with Disabilities “Kivotos” in Argilos, Kozani.

Since 2014, I have been working for the Municipality of Kozani in the Department of Social Policy, where I am employed as a Psychologist. Since 2013, I have maintained a private practice in the city of Kozani.

I provide therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral problems, adjustment issues, psychosocial and psychophysiological disorders such as agoraphobia, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, loss – grief, insomnia, interpersonal difficulties, anxiety disorders, mood – emotional disorders, behavioral disorders, specific phobias, obsessive thoughts and compulsions, self-esteem issues, abuse, post-traumatic stress, and chronic pain.

As part of a comprehensive intervention, I also offer counseling and support to parents and to individuals wishing to have children.

Ongoing training and education are essential tools for every Psychologist. Among other things, I have been trained in psychodiagnostic assessment using psychometric tools (tests), brief psychodynamic psychotherapy, trauma therapy protocols, and Sandplay Therapy. I hold an Advanced Practice Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis – Biothymic Psychotherapy, certified by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, and an Advanced Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Clinical Hypnosis and Cognitive Behavioral Clinical Hypnotherapy, certified and recognized by the National/International Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP – ICIP), the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH), the International Hypnosis Association (IHA), the Professional Hypnotherapists Practitioners Association (PHPA), the International Association of Therapists (IAOTH), the International Association of Accredited Coaches, Therapists and Mentors (IACTM), the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), the International Appliance Assurance for Holistic Practitioners (ICAHP), as well as the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).

I am a regular member of the Hellenic Psychological Society with Registry Number 2027 and hold the Professional License to Practice Psychology No. 12120/04, issued by the Prefectural Administration of Thessaloniki.
